Tony O’Donnell – Managing Partner started his career as a research scientist, examining the impact of pollution of aquatic environments within the water industry. Following a change in career direction, he joined a graduate training programme with HP and moved into IT sales. Prior to co-founding Cambium he has led sales teams selling high value capital goods and services to most major industry sectors both in the UK and Internationally.
Iain Burns – Head of Research started out designing nuclear power stations before going into IT. There he had roles in sales, systems engineering, product management and services. He created and implemented one of the largest Global sales processes for a large multi-national and became one of the first people looking at how data centres can be made more efficient and how IT can go on to be used to reduce energy use.
John McEachen – Sales Enablement Specialist is a chemical engineer who worked in energy management in the consumer packaged goods industry before moving into training and change management. As a consultant he has added to his studies with a degree in psychology and has worked worldwide with companies such as Hewlett Packard, Symantec and Santander.
Executive Advisory Board is headed by Professor Mike Bonaventura, Chief Executive at the Crichton Carbon Centre, a not for profit post-graduate teaching and applied research organisation focused on sustainable development and the transition to low carbon economies. Mike holds an honorary personal chair at Glasgow University’s School of Interdisciplinary Studies. He provides advice on policy and technology and independent validation of Cambium research.
